Kraft Heinz offers two types of young professional programs — Trainee Program and Intern Program — designed to get undergraduate and graduate-level students into the business. A second project rotation is preceded by a two-week leadership development course. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll receive a certificate and get placed into a full-time position at the company.

Intern Program

The Intern Program at Kraft Heinz is a shorter program designed to offer students professional experience. The company targets juniors that are heading into their senior year and recruitment typically starts in the fall.

If you get the internship, you’ll start with a one-week orientation at the company and then spend nine weeks working on a project within a specific department.

Complete the Game-Based Assessment

Interview Process for a Kraft Heinz Internship

So you passed the application and game assessment process and have landed yourself an interview. Congratulations! Now you may be wondering what comes next. The hiring process at Kraft Heinz is a lengthy one — taking anywhere from a couple weeks to more than a month. One of the reasons that the process is so long is that there are several interviews you need to complete. Here’s a breakdown of the different interviews you’ll encounter as you advance in the selection process.

Phone or Video Interview

The video interview typically lasts 30 minutes and is initially led by the human resources lead. If the company isn’t scheduled to visit your campus, you may be invited to the Chicago office for an interview or assessment. These tests vary depending on the type of internship you’re applying for but expect to be faced with a challenge that you’ll be expected to solve.
